Earning Money With An Advertising Campaign.


Hi, here we go with our review on advertising campaign. I hope you remember my previous article about this. So let’s go on. It’s clear that you should evaluate effectiveness of your future campaign. This is actually the most important thing in any campaign. And it seems to me that it’s especially essential in contextual advertising because the Internet allows more than any other channel of information to evaluate the effectiveness of what you are doing with your own marketing campaign. Prepare your site before the advertising campaign, monitor visitors of your site. See how they behave, where they go, fix the pages if required of course.
If we divide the evaluation of the effectiveness in several stages then the first thing will be probably a question by phone or by E-mail addressed to a potential client. Do you know this question? Perhaps you’ve just guessed it. Certainly this question is “How have you found us?” But I should confess that it would be an inaccurate way, because not everyone can share contextual advertising and the Internet, 90% can not, but you will at least be able to understand, whether it’s is working for you online or not. The second step is to make key pages on the site. All users who have achieved these key pages should be considered to be potential customers. This might be “Contacts”, “Map of the goods”, the page with the order confirmation of your e-shop, anything you like. You can also make just a single page, a so called mini site and bring traffic back to the context, for example. There might be a separate E-mail, a separate phone. Under this system, you can clearly see that this user has come from the context and this mean that you can calculate the cost of content with a great accuracy and understand how profitable is.
While making these calculations, you won’t have to worry about that, for example, yesterday your click cost 90 cents and today it is worth one dollar or yesterday you spent $ 100 on the context and today it cost 200. It’s because you will understand clearly that money is going to return to you. Moreover you realize how much money you can spend for each visitor from the content. Evaluation is a very important tool for any advertiser and I strongly recommend to use it at least at the minimal degree. But there‘s another very important point, which I haven’t inserted in your article but you need to take it into consideration too. So I just want to say that you should not be afraid to spend money on advertising campaigns because the lack of advertising budget, especially in working systems, such as contextual advertising. In this case you can lose potential profits. I’m sure that with a certain practice you’ll get rid of this fear and start earning really big money.
